Effective Dehumanization

Dehumanization is the psychological process of demonizing others, making them seem less than human and hence not worthy of humane treatment. This can lead to increased violence, human rights violations, war crimes, and genocide.

This is the basic strategy of the devil. In the Scriptures, we are told that God created everything and then at last, He created man.  Specifically, He made mankind in His image. He made humans to be full of the attributes of His own being: creative, expressive, loving, industrious, cooperative, nurturing, genius.

The first couple, Adam and Eve, were tricked by the serpent.  They were then open to deception, fear and murder.  God gave human beings free will.  He gave each of the choice to become whatever we wanted to in this world.  He offered life or death, blessing or the curse.

He made everything beautiful.  The devil corrupted everything. He was made the  angel, in charge of the worship in Heaven, but he wanted that worship for himself.  Instead of directing the worship toward the King of Kings, he drew people away from Love.

In the most ancient of times, murder has been part of the curse. From the time of Cain and Able to the remote Aztecs in the rainforest to wars large and small, the irreverence for other human beings has instigated brutality.

With the advent of various media and the explosion of information came the pattern of clear and convincing evidence that people no longer regard other people as the crescendo of God’s magnificent creation.

Genocide is the result of dehumanization. The most prominent and well known genocidal maniac was Adolf Hitler, but there have been many others.  Whole societies have dehumanized people for various reasons. Usually their ethnicity was the deciding factor, but appearance and relative inability to fight back more accurately describe the demonically inspired reasoning.

How then, do we accept abortion?  The US has dehumanized her own children.  They don’t look like a twenty-year old.  They cannot stand up for themselves.  They cannot argue their case to the US Supreme Court.  Abortion is genocide; not of one ethnicity, not of color, not of ancestry or lineage, not of any tangible common factor except age.  It is genocide for one reason, it is the mass murder of a class of people.

Why do I think it is the great conspiracy?  God’s love for the humans He created was so much greater than all else.  The devil hates people.  He would kill every single one, if he could, but he would do it before they could grasp the Love of God.

I just don’t understand how a society can collectively accept genocide.  ISIS is burning people alive, chopping them in pieces and bashing their sculls in.  There are images all over the internet of men, women and children that were horrifically brutalized to death in lands far away.  Some people are outraged.  Those with the power to do something about it are not though.

The very same thing happens to the smallest members of our own society during abortion.  We have lost our Way.  We have lost what it means to be human.

In NH, we cannot even get, so-called, ProLifers to vote for a bill that would merely acknowledge that human beings are human before birth. I couldn’t be more ashamed.

What is on the horizon?  What will become of US?
