Hold’em Close

We are living in crazy times. We never know what our end will be here on earth. It could be a freak accident, like a pig roaster falling off the back of a truck that hits us while driving the opposite direction. Or it could be contracting a strange parasite. Maybe it will be negligence or war or some other severe trauma. Maybe it will be a slow progressive disease allowing one to pass peacefully with family. Grammy says, “hold’m close.”

Hold’m Close

So, hold your family close. In addition to random stuff that could happen, death or distance can happen suddenly. Our families need to know that we love them and that our Creator loves them.

I live in a country where the highest office of the land is being sought by narcissistic billionaires that operate above the law. Many people in politics, who work in government positions of power are advocates for the destruction of human life at every level, except their elitist friends. Especially, when it comes to abortion.

Abortion has been the worst social experiment ever. It is a purely demonic attempt of the devil to destroy children, women and families. It was a woman who brought forth the Son of God: redeemer of the world. But the devil doesn’t have the capacity to understand that, “it is finished.” He is still trying to shed innocent blood and destroy women all over the earth in an attempt to rob God of His treasure.

Here in NH, the Executive Council voted to fund abortion vendors with our tax dollars. The EC is the second highest elected office in NH. They award contracts or decline them for the state. They approve or decline federal mandates. The Executive Council is currently five men. Only two of them were brave enough to stand up for the lives of the babies targeted to be killed and the women that are targeted to be wounded.

Two Men

The two defenders, Dave Wheeler and Joe Kenney, stood valiantly to oppose funding for abortion vendors because they know that abortion is not health care.

• These men know abortion kills the tiniest and most vulnerable people on the planet.
• They know that Planned Parenthood uses propaganda campaigns to entice women and men into their facilities.
• The world knows that they make enough money killing babies and that they do not need taxpayer funding.
• They’ve heard that Planned Parenthood has been caught selling baby body parts.
• They’re aware that PP has been caught covering up sexual abuse of minors and sex trafficking.
• They know that women are hurt by abortion: their families and their futures have been negatively and irrevocably impacted.
• They also know that government sanctioned killing expands.

Value ‘m

At the back of the book, in the Revelation, it speaks of a woman bringing forth a son. The woman is a type of the church. With the church being pummeled from every direction, there will be little hope of escaping the anarchy that seems to be looming on the horizon. This country was founded on Judeo-Christian values of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for the betterment of all, not at the expense of some.

These values require a social compact. Valuing the lives of other human beings and recognizing a few principles of civility. Don’t steal, cheat, lie and don’t kill people. With the erosion of these values, no one is truly safe.

So, hold’m close. Pray and share the message of eternal life in Christ.
